Among her honors: a gold medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, a silver medal at the 1998 World Shooting Grand Prix in Atlanta and India's Arjuna Award, the equivalent of the country's sports hall of fame. She holds the Commonwealth record in women's small-bore prone rifle and several Indian national and Oxford university records.

Nowadays, her twins keep her so busy that the only non-work activity is her food blog, RoopaRecipes.blogspot.com.
